Description
J. Adam Walters both penciled and inked this splash page for Heroic Comics’s Black Enchantress 2. The fat guy is called “The Monocle”, a recurring villain. This is his first appearance. He was modeled after both John Candy’s Dr. Tongue and Orson Wells. This is set in the early days of the Black Enchantress’s career, when she called herself Arcana the Witch Girl. The artist has other Black Enchantress pages for sale; contact him at awalter@usit.net.

I honestly thought I was buying a nightclub picture and that the feet belonged to a cabaret singer standing at a microphone. It was only when I got back to my motel room at SDCC 05 that I saw that the feet were not positioned in a way one could reasonably use in standing and that the “mike stand” was in fact a pole. It makes for a good bit of sleaze for the film noir feeling of the episode.

As good girl art, this is exactly the opposite of my usual preference. All that shows of the main lady is the part of a woman I am ok with skipping, the part below the calves. It is a great picture for anyone with a foot fetish though and provides some variety. I love this picture because it is so unique and dramatic.
