Description

Published as part of Card Set II, Card # 84. Very similar to The Yellow Man, which was part of Card Set I. Jones has explored this motif in a variety of ways, including the Narcissus watercolor in my gallery - the self-absorbed, completely focused individual with an almost complete lack of awareness of the larger world. Oil on canvas, 28" x 22".

One of my all-time favorites by Jones. He's at the absolute peak of his powers as a painter here. Is there any other artist who could say so much with so little? Incredible. Thanks for sharing this, Chad.
