Description

During my early collecting years, I had fond memories of collecting Marvel cards. Believe it or not, they were at least as popular with the kids as the actual comics. Cheaper. A lot easier to trade. And it was helluva lot easier learning the Marvel Universe by studying 100 cards than trying to buy 100 comics.

I've always been a huge X-Men fan with Rogue as my favorite. I remember how excited I was when my friend sold me this common Rogue card for $1 (that was my entire lunch money). 20 years later, I get that same excitement after paying a ridiculous amount for the 5x7 original.

Can't believe nobody's commented on this (I'm just seeing it now so I guess I can?)! Totally share the same feeling. These cards meant the world to me and the OA is even more fantastic!

One of my favortie cards from the set. All of Arts cards on Duo shade are classics. Great pick up.

These sets were awesome, and Art's cards were standouts. He hit this Rogue drawing perfectly.
