Description

From the super nice Richard Case comes the third in my series of Doom Patrol / Marvel cross-overs.

The 60's and 70's versions were easy for me but the late 80's / 90's version just had me stumped. I mean, Marvel never really had a Vertigo line and I just couldn't come up with someone for the Morrison / Case version of the team fight. I mean, Marvel kinda toyed with the idea of more adult series but they went all in like DC did. I'm not sure how I came across the Demon Bear, from New Mutants, but the moment I saw it the light went on.

Luckily it didn't take me long to find Richard and find that he's doing commissions. From there it was just making the request and sitting back and waiting for this beaut to show up at my door. Wonderful work from Case here. I can so clearly see this as a "lost" cover from his run. And while you can't really see it at this resolution there's an amazing Byrne vibe to Crazy Jane. Very early 00's JB.
