A fantastic Demon by Timm! What's not to love?

As much as I love his damsels work (and I do, it 's not just a dismissive figure of speech), I came to his art by his ground breaking work on the Batman show and the subsequent great work on the DC animated series and movies.

That means I will always prefer pieces by Timm linked to the super-hero genre. And simply put, Timm does fantastic work on the old Kirby characters. His love of them pours out of the art.

Timm portrayed Etrigan ine one of the most memorable episode of the Batman show as as in a famous annual of the animated comic book tie-in.

He's drawn a few Demons over the years, but I think this one may be his best yet. I missed previous one and was delighted to add a Demon head sketch he did during a past year convention season but this takes the cake :)

Incredible energy and violence, lotsa Kirby crackles, just the perfect Demon piece by Timm in my book :)
