Description

My other Adams sketch from around 1979. The quality that used to go into 'standard' convention sketches is now what is being called a commission; but in earlier times, for $10 to $25 you could get a decent piece. Monetary values are relative to age of course... at that time, minimum wage was somewhere around $1.30/hour.

I can't believe I'm the only one who "liked" this wonderful sketch and the first to comment. Clearly you're very lucky to have been able to get this sketch at this price and quality. And when Adams was at the top of his art. Some people think that John Buscema was the best Conan artist, and although I like his Conan a lot, I prefer the one Adams drew, even if he didn't draw it much.
