Description
Original cover artwork for Countdown to Mystery # 3. Originally intended as the variant cover to a new Dr. Fate series which was to have launched fall 2007. However, the original series artist Paul Gulacy became unavailable for some reason and the story became one of the segments in a new series entitled Countdown to Mystery and the cover was used for it's 3rd issue. Pen, ink, wash and possibly marker on vellum. 25.4 cm * 40.6 cm (10" * 16"). Signed
