WOW WOW WOW
I was thrilled to get on GP commission list for LSCC. And of course I had to get a Circe from him.
I specifically asked for Circe turning Diana into clay from the War of the Gods storyline from 1991.
I also asked if he could add the god Hermes helmet into the sketch, as Circe had just murdered him in the story before attacking Diana. And there it is in the bottom left of the commission.
A big thanks to GP for making this commission a reality!

This is one of those pieces that I look at and just know that the scan can't possibly do it justice. It's so much more than a commission. It's a scene--as only GP can draw it

Looking at this again...I keep seeing more and more that I like, particularly, the inclusion of hermes Helmet....GP did a brilliant Hermes, and this little helmet makes me long to see him draw that charcater again. Also relly like the way he has drawn the robes on Circe...they flow so beautifully

This is an excellent piece that tells it's own story. Did you know George once did a trading card based on the same theme (using a totally different composition of course). Epic.
