Description
USM 127 pg16-17.

I was originally looking at another splash in the same book, but it was sold, so I ended with this one. Not too shabby :)

It's a great couple of pages. Storytelling-wise, I've always been a great fan of such scenes where Spidey's actions are decomposed to the extreme, especially in that rainy New York architecture. Congrats, man.

Wow!  I can't believe I haven't posted a comment on this one yet...!  I feel like I come across this one on occasion and always enjoy staring at it for a spell...  And for good reason, too.  Incredible architecture and the multiple vertical panels allow for that oh-so-sweet Immonen von Grawbadger storytelling to shine through.  Superb staging, letting each panel break fall on a distinct building face, giving the reader a really full and truly beautiful visual experience.  SUCH a great spread, d!  Consider this a long-overdue comment for the many visits I have made to this great piece!

Jason, thanks for the flurry of comments across my Immonen collection and great to meet another Immonen fan! I decided to reply to your comment on this one because I think this is a prime example of why Stuart is so revered by his peers. I remember reading this in the book when it was released and never imagined I could own the original drawing. Have a good one!
