Description
Marvel Comics, 2000 - 11"x17" - Inks over original pencils.

Kurt Busiek & JR Jr. Avengers run was so nice with a cast of amazing second row characters. I fell in love with mega half splash mind pulse by Moondragon.

Here you can see, in a big and special FX fight, Jack of Hearts, Moondragon and Photon (Monica Rambeau) against Kree mutates!

Perfect inks by Al Vey!

Awesome page--only JRJR could imagine a power display that is this dynamic for a character like Moondragon. Very cool!

It's so easy to tell that JR, Jr. studied - really STUDIED - at the feet of masters.  His composition and layout work is always top notch, but he'll often even go above and beyond and produce a page of epic, operatic proportions that truly gets the blood pumping. This is one such example!  I dare anyone to consider any character on this page a "b-list character" after Romita, Jr. weaves his magic.  So, so, SO good.  Serious congrats.  This is stunning.

I agree with you, Jason. JR Jr. is very classic, powerful and innovative at the same time. He knows very, very well each character he pencils and try to find a unique way to do it. Stunning indeed!
