Being an "old-timer" who runs past the new comics without even looking at them on his was to the bargain book-trades area in the local comic shop, I didn't know anything about this series. Yet I liked the Valkyrie character and had been looking to get a Bagley page, so it was an easy choice when shopping at Spencer Becks holiday sale. Researching the series it seems to have gotten plenty of lukewarm, at best, reviews. (I have tried to read Fraction's rambling semi-coherent hipster drivel before, so when i saw his writing credit i was not surprised about the reviews). Though it is Bagley that brought me to the party, and the tough girl action is right up my alley!
