Description

A short but lovely story comes behind this piece. Terry and his wife were at the supernova convention in Melbourne for the weekend and I knew I had to have a piece done by them. Unfortunately Terry is one of the hardest artists to secure a piece from. Many like-minded fans had the same idea to try and get a commission which resulted in a list of about 30 commissions of which only 5 would be chosen. The next day he would have them done for the fans who were lucky enough to be chosen. So the next day we turned up to his table and he says he couldn't get it done but he would see what he could do and try get a half figure done. We come back at the end of the day to this piece you see here and didn't even charge us for it because he got to know us and talk to us for pretty much the whole convention. I was astounded at their kindness and generosity one of the true heroes of the medium.
