Catwoman by Mark Brooks

So a little backstory if I may.

3 years ago I stopped hitting cons due to money. My wife and I had decided it was time for children and for some reason we got the "children (plural)" done in one fell swoop. We were blessed with twins.

So as I watched everyone posting their artwork I knew, one day, I'd be back. Whoa boy was I right.

Fast forward to Friday. Boston Comic Con was cancelled due to the tragedy in Boston. I had been saving up and had taken the days off months in advance. I was bummed but I understood why. Then, suddenly tweets started coming out that artists had already arrived and had no con to attend, so they were going to do a con in the hotel bar/lobby. And thus the Boston Bar Con was born.

My buddy (a fellow collector) and I packed up and drove up to Boston, and proceeded to spend the night hanging out with Mark Brooks, Tony Daniel, Ale Garza, Agnes Garbowska and other great artists. A special thank you to Ale, Mark and Agnes who spent the night eating, drinking and chatting with us which made it amazing.

Mark finished this up during last call at the bar. Watching him sketch at the bar while handling his dinner was amazing lol. Apparently he doesn't get too many requests for DC characters so this makes it even more special. I appreciate everything he did to make the night awesome despite the con being cancelled.
