True that. He is a consummate professional. I had just forgotten about that... 'phase' for Supergirl and it brings back good memories of Peter David's writing.

Peter David's mysterious Linda Lee and supernatural Supergirl was a wild ride; he is an excellent writer. (But my favorite version of Supergirl is still the Silver Age Kryptonian Kara from bubble-domed Argo City ...)
