Description
Edoardo Morricone began his career doing cartoons for Travaso. He drew war comics for Casa Editrice Europer in Rome and did several issues of 'Joe Sub' with scripts by Capparucci. In 1969, he created the character 'Jorgo'. He worked for publisher MA.GA under several pseudonyms. He took over 'Joe Colt' and contributed to Sansoni publications like Super Vip and Pocket.

He was part of the Studioriga in Milan since 1973. Under supervision of Graziano Origa, he illustrated series like 'Lucifera', 'Maghella' and 'Biancaneve'. For Boss Periodici, he created 'Tonio Flash' with Graziano Origa. He left the studios to join Bonelli publishers, where he created 'Flag', a soldier from the French legion, for Collana Rodeo.

Morricone has also worked on series like 'Alan Ford', before he focused on a career in advertising. In 1990, he returned to comics and illustrated several stories with 'Kriminal' and 'Satanik' for Max Bunker Press. With scriptwriter Franco Tamagni, he created the character 'Cobra' for Editrice Eden in 1991.
