If Allan had been around during Marvel's Silver Age, Stan Lee would have dubbed him Allan "Solid" Goldman. Here's another superlative demonstration of the reasons why. Congratulations on this mind-blowing addition!

A really nice piece, well executed with a definite Golden Age feel to it. You know, I've been looking for thirty years for a single Novick drawing of the Shield, and I've never seen one. But this is a worthy homage- it has the same type of vibe as Novick's version.
