This is my favorite image of Cap. EVER!!!!

The first splash of Cap's Silver Age solo series bursting from the page and searing my memory.

I so love this image and ever since I started collecting I regretted that Chic Stone had passed away before I started collecting art. Denying me the opportunity of having Chic recreate this legendary image.

When I discovered Bruce McCorkindale's amazing ability to channel the best of the Silver Age I eagerly commissioned this recreation.

As I type this, the work hangs on my wall of Cap behind me. It is placed so every time I get out of my chair it is the first piece of art I look at, bringing back all the memories of why Captain America has always been my favorite hero.

I hope you enjoy this recreation as much as I do

I'm a recent convert to Bruce's work and am now really fired by what he can do! Here, he captures to perfection Kirby and Stone's work. Superb.
