X-Men unlimited 29 p8 by Cully Hamner

A great X-Men Cully page.

What got me here is the amazing storytelling.

Wolvie coming to talk with Colossus in the process of venting his fustration over his inability to save some normies in a train accident by punching rocks in the the garden of the X mansion.

The point is that you can see from Wolvie's face that he means well, even though he's telling hard truths and pushing Piotr to face them, while not being his usual asocial gruting pitbul around other people. And you can feel Colossus's frustration and the fact he's displeased by what he hears. And you can feel those punches even though their impact is mainly off panel. The feel of being somewhat relieved by the exercice is also visible in the last panel.

Just plain, brilliant storytelling (and great writing) by Cully. Thanks Alex ;)
