I LOVE this image!

Just as the title says, this was never used... as a cover.

However, it did see print as an ad in the Previews catalog. (See Additional Images.)

If a color guide exists for this piece, I'd love to know about it.

Because this was an early idea Jim had before Max received his... divinity I guess you could say. His "final form" was a Silver Surfer looking style. Long story short? I'm guessing deadlines. I LOVE this costume design and Wildstorm blasphemed it by using this in their last few issues... Gave this design to some kind of stupid Earth spirt or some such crap. Not even going to justify putting the image up. Trying to erase it from my mind. Thanx for all the comments everybody!
