DescriptionThe Hunger Dogs published by DC Comics in 1985 was the long awaited finale to Jack Kirby’s New Gods saga, published years after the series was prematurely cancelled leaving the story unfinished..This unique original features Darkseid inks from Jack Kirby’s THE HUNGER DOGS by Greg Theakston. Drawn in India ink on vellum, 9” x 5.5”. This art was used to correct problems with the inking on Jack Kirby’s only Graphic Novel and replaced images on the page. Light-boxed from the pencils.
