Description

This is a Deadpool Commission that was done by none other than Ed McGuinness and inked by Dexter Vines. I don't care that Liefeld created Deadpool. To me, Joe Kelly and Ed McGuinness are the definitive creators of the Merc with a Mouth! The Liefeld character was waaaaay different from the one that we all know and love. Who do I credit this for? Kelly and McGuinness of course! So when a spot opened up to get a commish from Ed, I HAD to choose Wade Wilson. The "I'm Gonna Super Mario Your A$$" was a personal request. This is a reference to a scene from Deadpool #1 with Kelly and McGuinness at the helm. Do yourself a favor and read it! Last time I saw, they were in Deadpool Classics in trade paperback form.

This pic doesn't do the piece justice! The amount of detail in it is amazing! Dex really knows how ink over Ed's pencils and make him shine! Thank you Michael, from MGA, for setting this up. This is definitely going to be framed!
