Description

I was missing a panel page by the master, so I've managed to get this from segnidisegni.net (Thanks Claudia!). It's from an 8 page story titled "Il giorno del cobra" and it dates back to the mid '70s, when the style of Toppi was just evolving from a traditional composition of the page up to a definitely more personal, in which the size/shape of panels, as much as the single characters/elements inside, are meant to emphasize the narrative. Cool! :)

Very cool! In addition to Toppi's influential style, the design and placement of the panels enhance the storytelling.
