Description

I'm amazed at Death. It's amazing to me how many times I've talked with people about what they want to draw, I mention Death, and they all (and I mean 'all') say, 'Ooo, I like Death.' That's what Joelle Jones said to me and, at the time, I wondered why everyone says that. Then I saw the finished product and I understood. She has a definite presence and understated beauty that brings out the best in many artists. When she showed me this, I found myself saying, 'Ooo, neat gravestones.' Who says that?!? But this is a beautifully rendered piece that stops people when they are browsing through my collection. The scan is eye-catching, definitely, but not as great as the real thing.
