In the lovely book George Perez Storyteller, published by Dynamic Forces and written by Christopher Lawrence, George Perez is quoted as saying about this page,

"I drew Johnny Storm very uncharacteristically.... He was dressed like a pimp I knew from the South Bronx."

Lawrence goes on to relate that writer Roy Thomas humored Perez and wrote the fashion statement into the story.

Dig those Groovy Threads! Congrats Lee! This page brings back memories of Perez drawing the FF, Avengers and Inhumans in the 70's!
