Description
I was really excited to get on JB's commission list and have him draw DD. I requested to have him draw DD in a dark stormy night on a gargoyle with a city background. This is one major hell storm that even Ororo Monroe would be jealous of. DD issue #200 is one of my most memorable images by JB. Big Thanks to Jim Warden for the great communication and for seeing this through. Thanks to John Byrne for the amazing work.

Congrats on this amazing commission! I just wonder if you're going to begin a DoG (Daredevil on Gargoyle) collection... Lol

Lol Thanks for the comment Davide. I will leave that to Mr. Shapiro who holds the title but if i did it would be DDOG lol. Everyone needs a gargoyle especially for the darker characters.

Beautifully atmospheric, D. I love the gritty departure from JB's typically pristine linework. A really dramatic rendition of DD. Congrats!

Man I gotta throw in my 2 cents as well. What a great original piece by JB - I love how the backgrounds, rain, etc., are featured just as if not more than DD himself. He almost blends in which is a neat effect. Congrats on a primo example!

Well done my friend, JB has delivered the goods and some !!!!
One of the GREATEST comic book artists of all-time, and artistically, Byrne has lost NONE of his awesome talent. I would love to see Byrne one day return to Marvel, left to his own devices, writing and pencilling Daredevil - I hope I live to see this !!!!!!
