1978 From the story - "Demons at the Summit!” written by Roy Thomas. Adapted from a story by Björn Nyberg.

This one first appeared in SSOC #3 back in 1974 in its original form but was ‘redrawn” for CTB for a "filler" issue to give John a break. I don’t know why the story was redrawn but it does show a lot more of John’s influence since the SSOC 3 issue and Tony's growth as a artist over 4 years.

The one thing I love about collecting pages like this is seeing first hand how the character and artwork changes - turning 10 pages in a portfolio and seeing a decade of change.
