I also obsessively haunted bookstores for Origins, Son of Origins, Bring on the Bad Guys etc (as if they might appear unexpectedly any week or month), and copied the Barry Smith Conan from the 1975 calendar as a kid. That was a lot of inking info in one image to absorb!
