Description

This is my third Nova cover recreation. This time around the great Steve Erwin has provided the linework. #22 originally featured The Comet in the forefront and Nova flying up behind him. Being this is a Nova comic,I had Steve reverse both characters. I really like How he captured The Comet in glowing full flight. I also had Steve include Diamondhead,who was mentioned in the cover blurb,but not present on the cover itself. Steve was a pleasure to work with and very timely>

My thanks once again to Damon Owens for pointing me in Steve's direction. Special thanks(once again also),to the incredible Chris Ivy for providing all of the cool cover special effects! I Posted the original cover by the team of Dave Cockrum & Joe Rubinstein below.

Rob, this is absolutely world-class. As good as any cover that ever appeared on any issue of Nova. Congrats on yet another killer addition to your gallery.

Thank you sir! Some of the covers from the original series were hit's and some were misses. While Dave and Joe did a great job with the original,Steve did it the way I would have wanted. It's fun playing editor!
