Description
This piece is small (7.25" by 7.5"), but it packs a mighty punch; a classic Spidey pose by the legendary "Jazzy" John Romita Sr.

I got this piece from Romitaman and I'm told it was used for merchandising. If anyone comes across a published copy of this image, I'd love to know about it and (if possible) get a scan. So let me know. Thanks.

I think I know the calendar you are thinking about...I don't think this is that image, but VERY close.

yea the 1978 marvel is the one I was talking about. man its close but not the same. im sure it was used for something! awesome piece

Many of us usually talk of Jazzy John's incredible pencil work. However, let us not forget his legendary inking as well. And here you get it all; Spider-Man penciled "and" inked by the definitive Spidey artist himself. And in an iconic crawling position no less. What a score!

Awesome! I think I came across this image as the "Spiderman Upward Crawl Gold T-Shirt, sending PM now. :-) Cleverly, the art was published upside-down to have Spidey crawling up...
