WINNIE WINKLE EARLY DAILY ART - July 27, 1921

This is an extremely early example of Martin Branner's work on one of the longest running comic strips of all time. This daily is from the 1st year the strip existed, the 10th month to be exact, and is a great example featuring Winnie in all 4 panels on the beach in her bathing suit. It doesn't get much better than this for the Winnie fan. I know Winnie Winkle art doesn't get much respect in general, heck with 76 years of dailies floating around they certainly are not rare. BUT, try finding another one from the early 20s with this kind of content!
