Description

Here is another little gem by Mooney. This is page 8 from The Terrible Toymaster a 14.5 page Dial H for Hero story that appeared in House of Mystery 169 (cover dated September 1967).

In this story, Robby Reed goes up against the villainous Toymaster with the dial making him Velocity Kid and Astro. But it is his girlfriend Suzy who discovers Robby's secret and used the H-Dial to transform herself into Gem Girl to help Robby defeat the Toymaster. In the end, though, she develops amnesia and forgets the entire experience. It is funny how few documented cases of amnesia actually exist!!

Definitely fun stuff!

Brilliant Mooney Dial H for Hero page!!!

Mooney just got better and better. The dynamic layouts on the panels on the right are superb, and the storytelling is excellent with the reader's eye being 'pulled' through the cave scene. Really nice!
