Description

For a while the Convention in Bristol, UK, was the only reasonable convention running. Dave Gibbons, John Higgins, Bryan Talbot and John Macrae (and sundry guests) used to wind up the convention in the bar at the Swallow Hotel - pictured bottom right on the drawing. The next morning the hotel used to look almost as wrecked as it does having been shot up by Martha Washington!
