I wouldn't say, artistically, that this was one of Starlin's better covers, but I would say that if, at the time this came out, you loved comics, saw this cover and did not pick this book up, something was WRONG with you. In that respect, it is one of the most memorable covers Starlin ever drew.

Yes, this was a TPB cover from 1994. The original Death of Captain Marvel graphic novel was printed in 1982.
