DescriptionCover from issue 34 of DC's "Birds of Prey" comic (Vol 1, 2001), by Phil Noto(pencils/inks, signed), on 12" x 17" DC Cover Stock. Great cover by Phil featuring Ra's Al Ghul holding Black Canary.The only negative, and one which seems typical of Noto's work, is there was apparently some post-drawing/computer "fixes" done on Black Canary's hair on her left side (in the "headshot" rectangle). It's pretty minor, and why the change, I have no idea, as it doesn't really add anything. But this does seem to happen on a lot of Noto's covers, if you research the final drawn image and what finally makes it to the actual printed cover. Social/Sharing |
