Description

Queen Beryl is arguably the most well known Sailor Moon villain in the west. She's appeared in nearly all adaptions of the Sailor Moon manga and she was featured prominently in the dub to the point that American toy makers made a doll of her. Interestingly, Queen Beryl is not the actual head of her group, the Dark Kingdom, but she seems to be the highest figure before its actual leader, Queen Metalia. The dub changed this and made Beryl the head while Metalia was turned into "The Negaforce" and seemed to have either been a force of nature or a god the Negaverse worshiped, though they made it clear it had some agenda and Beryl was working for it.
