Not a big secret that I am a big fan of Fables and particularly Boy Blue. I'm a huge fan of the character. This is one of the pages from the early issues of Fables, where Blue still came across as a little younger but I gotta say I really really like this page. The wooden soldiers on the floor, the nice little shot of Pinocchio reading (get this!) Frankenstein... there's a lot of beautiful little touches and hints to other story lines. Mark Buckingham takes great care with his work on Fables and Steve Leialoha compliments him extremely well. I am super happy to have this page in my collection. Now all I need is some art from Homelands and all is well with the world =)
