DescriptionLeopoldo Ortiz Moya (Cartagena, 1930 - Valencia, 2012). Original de la plancha séptima incluida en el primer cuadernillo (sin título específico) de esta serie. Tinta china sobre cartulina de dibujo. Dimensiones: 34 x 23,5 cm. Año 1953. Firmada.El Príncipe Pablo es una serie publicada por Editorial Maga, de la que salieron 25 cuadernillos con periodicidad semanal. Supuso el debut de Leopoldo Ortiz, artista de origen murciano y hermano del más famoso José (que se encargó de la realización de todas las portadas). Tal y como señala Paco Baena en su libro La magia de Maga. Desde la nostalgia, el joven Leopoldo consiguió en ella captar «una atmósfera de cuento de hadas», circunstancia que se vio incrementada por «el estilizado, relamido y estático trazo que el incipiente autor destilaba en sus primeros días» (op. cit., pp. 67 y 251).
