Description

While I've honestly not been a fan of the Avengers over the last few years Hickman's choices for his expanded team have been kinda cool. The idea of having one of the Imperial Guard on the team is ~classic~. Surprised someone like Roger Stern never went that route back in the day. This in my head, along with Nebula in the new GotG movie, got me thinking about an epilogue to Stern's Sanctuary storyline. A final strike as a part of the story with my favorite Guardsman (at least in terms of costume) getting the jump on new Avenger Namor. Based on Amazing Spider-Man 270, I think Greg did a super job with this one. Really impressed with Smasher's face here.

And then off it went next to Chris Ivy for some of his masterful lettering work. Chris never lets me down and I couldn't offer any higher recommendation. Penciller, letterer, colorist. Dude does it all!

Nice pairing between Greg and Chris! really enjoyed this era of Avengers! Smasher "Smashing" is a plus here!Another great imaginary cover from the Mind of Moorhead!

Very nice! Great idea! I am currently in the process of getting some commission work from Greg, and after seeing this fantastic piece I can't be any more excited for it!!!
