Ok so I am completely BLOWN AWAY by this piece. I mean completely. One might say 'tongue tied'.

RED DWARF is one of very very few things that can literally break ANY bad mood for me.

I am incapable of feeling anything but joy when I watch RED DWARF.

I tell people to "smeg off", I am frequently "spoiling for a rumble", I often remind people of Space Corps Directive 34124 (look it up), I have been known to sign my name with B.S.C. and blame things on "aliens!" and, finally, if I pass a mirror "I am done for the day!"

So imagine the purple alert that went off when I saw this piece.
Holy crap.

What can be said of Adam's art that hasn't been said already a hundred times. Well, for me, it is the fact that the characters literally exist within the page. They have thoughts, feelings, and always look as if you have caught them in a candid moment.

Rimmer is hearing the Arnold Rimmer song on repeat in his mind (he's also a fantastic swimmer), Lister is just relieved you aren't a crypto-fascist and thinking of getting a lager to kill his Vindaloo, Kryten is worried he might have forgotten to iron something or is internally practicing his lies, and Cat is remembering how amazing his ass looks...all the time, in every outfit. Holly, through it all, is trying to determine if that black mass, in the blackness of space, is actually a black hole, or just more space, which happens to be black.

This piece means the world to me. It makes me smile and gives me warm fuzzies.
It is such an important piece to me I cant even put it into words. The best part is, it was a surprise. I did not know the specific BBC subject of the piece until it was presented to me. BLOWN AWAY.

Many MANY thanks to Adam, for such a generous piece. It is GORGEOUS and really personal. I absolutely love it.

It's a bit difficult to know what to say... :)

Congrats carmen on adding this fantastic piece to your hughes collection. Red dwarf is a series i've been meaning to see so I definitely have to check it out.

I always a fan of The Cat's Deader than..... Like "we are deader than tank tops". This piece is just fantastic, Adam just nailed Kryten in particular.
