Description

One of several paintings I did for National Lampoon in the 1980s--this one a parody of Frank Herbert's masterpiece Dune. Instead of a desert world, the book depicted a dessert world where chefs ride through brown sugar landscape on giant pretzels. For style, I mimicked the bright red look of the covers that were on the book series at the time.
