DescriptionThis was the first year that Adi & Tamsin Granov have come to a Northern California con and I couldn't waste that opportunity. So I reached out through Facebook and found out I had just missed the list, but Tamsin told me she would put me on the reserve list in case anyone droped off and someone did! So I managed to get onto Adi Granov's short commission list and went back and forth on what to get for a week or so before I decided I just had to get an Iron Man from one of the definitive Iron Man artists. I just told him to draw whichever was his favorite of the armor version and I decided at the last minute to spring for full color painted, instead of just b&w wash tones, and I am so glad I did. He totally blew my mind when I got this in hand at the show. The man is a genius, and he and his wife are such nice people! Couldn't have been any smoother of a commission. I too, got a Mark VII from Adi on Saturday.Pretty much had to as he's been the definitive Iron Man artist the last several years. Yours came out pretty nice. Looks a bit bolder than mine. I hope to post it up soon although I have to get it scanned somewhere first.
