DescriptionBefore the Thing got his name on the title mast of Marvel Two-in-One, he had a two issue trial run as the lead character in a title called Marvel Feature (issues 11 and 12). This commission portrays the scene in Marvel Feature 12 (originally by Jim Starlin and Joe Sinnott) where the Thing and Iron Man burst out of a landslide that was dropped on them by two baddies called the Blood Brothers.George added some grey ink washes to his pencils and inks, which was a very nice, unexpected surprise. Completed in March 2004. Rest in peace, George. Thank you for everything. Social/Sharing |
