Bruce Timm affectionately pays homage here to five Hammer Films starlets from '50s and '60s horror films, in a contribution for the Little Shoppe of Horrors fanzine.


Depicted, clockwise: (1) Hazel Court (Curse Of Frankenstein, The Masque Of The Red Death) ; (2) Yvonne Romain (Curse Of The Werewolf, Circus Of Horrors) ; (3) Veronica Carlson (Frankenstein Must Be Destroyed, Dracula Has Risen From The Grave) ; (4) Yvonne Monlaur (Brides Of Dracula, Circus Of Horrors) ; and (5) Barbara Shelley (Dracula, Prince Of Darkness, The Gorgon).


I coveted this on a dealer's site for years before I bought it. Somebody once said that if a collector were to buy at least one outstanding piece annually, the result would still be an impressive assemblage in a surprisingly short time. This has been my approach to collecting for two decades.
