Marvel: GI Joe #84 Page 2

As a child of the 80s, i, like most boys my age, grew up enamoured with martial arts and ninjas and Larry Hama's work on the GI Joe comic series played a pretty heavy role in that interest. While i didn't start training in jujitsu until my late 20s and teaching in my 30s, i have long held that fascination and as a now adult fan of the series, i find a lot of wonderful martial arts philosophies entrenched in Larry's writing. So needless to say, when this page from GI Joe #84 was offered to me, i jumped on the opportunity to own it. It hits on three major points for me: my love of learning and teaching martial arts, my love of the GI Joe mythos and my love of original comic art. Win, win, win!
