Description

1970 page drawn by tony vecchio, this one an unpublished page featuring a crumb/herriman style... R. Mutt was the signature marcel duchamp used on his famous readymade: "fountain". it seems that with the use of collage on some of my other vecchio pages, that he was certainly interested in dada and surrealism.

Very cool item. I missed the auctions so I am glad it went to a good home. The Herriman influence can't be missed with both the style and changing backgrounds.

Great Steve! Looks a bit like Herriman and early Crumb combined.....and the R. Mutt......Duchamp reference? Hmmmmmm
