Description

Painting measures 10 by 8 inches on an 11 by 9 inch thick art board, and is signed in the art by Dave Dorman in the lower left!

I contacted Dave Dorman regarding this painting. Here is his reply:

"This is indeed the original painting, and is done in oil and acrylic on illustration board.

This piece was done for Bradford Exchange as a background behind the Emperors throne on the second death star. So you would be looking out the window seeing the Battle over the Moon of Endor.

The figurine would have been Luke and Vader fighting in front of that window. This was only in the development stages and to the best of my memory the figurine never got made.

It was painted in the late 1990's. It has only seen print in my art book collection."
