Description

I met Duncan Fegredo a few years back at Florida Supercon- without a doubt, one of the coolest guys in the biz.
He asked me what I wanted HB doing- holding a skull or a sword or whatever, but I have a thing going with heroes drinking, and as Hellboy's life is (was) pretty tough, we decided to have him both drinking AND smoking!
Duncan LOVED the idea and painted the whole thing in inkwash- making this my alltime favorite piece.

Duncan's Hellboy is masterful, and rivals Mignola's artwork IMO. I'm super jealous of this one!

When Duncan started doing Hellboy, I couldn't imagine anyone being able to fill Mike's shoes let alone that I would like it. But Duncan came in and hit it out of the park. I love his Hellboy as much as Mignola's. Great piece and the beer theme is pretty darn cool.
