Description

From Church and State, arguably one of the highlights of the Cerebus saga. Cerebus the Pope is challenged by the giant Thrunk and the whole pontifexian career comes to a sudden (at least temporarily) end. Story and characters by Dave Sim, lavish backgrounds by Gerhard.
This DPS is actually drawn on two separate boards, and I have added scans of them as additional images.

Gerhard, taking it to da house (er, hotel...)!

Stunning and beautiful DPS - what an amazing piece! I would imagine seeing this in person makes an incredible, indelible impression. Fantastic Gerhard piece, and what could be better than a Dave Sim "stuffed nose" dialect? Superb! Congrats, Oystein!
