Description

So, it isn't the original art... who knows if the art even exists anymore? ...but the next best thing would be a vintage silver gelatin photograph. ABC Photo Division date stamp from 1/20/66 and newspaper publication stamp 2/1/66 with a portion of the newspaper ad dated 2/4/66. That newspaper ad had "by Jules Feiffer" at the bottom.

There's a portion of a signature at the bottom of the image area. I can't make it out, but it doesn't look like Feiffer. Maybe the Batman television ad was used to promote Feiffer's "The Great Comic Book Heroes" which came out the previous year? That would make sense for the "by Jules Feiffer".

I did a reverse image search and turned up nothing....so at least as a vintage photograph it is scarce. If anyone knows if this image was published elsewhere besides in newspapers, or who the artist is, let me know.
