Description

In the 42nd Goosebumps book, "Egg Monsters from Mars," preteen Dana discovers an unearthly green egg covered in veins, and it hatches into a horde of yellow, egg-like alien blobs. Dana and the Egg Monsters end up held hostage by a demented scientist named Dr. Gray. The Egg Monsters seem benevolent and end up keeping Dana warm when he nearly freezes to death in their cell, and later dispatch of Dr. Gray for good.

It isn't until the end that Dana unexpectedly lays a giant egg, and it seems the Egg Monsters had other intentions beyond saving Dana...

Yes. Seriously.
